What should you do if your child runs into trouble on the Internet?

If your child comes across a bad internet site you can block the site from your computer using blocking software. Click here for free blocking software.
- You can also contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to have websites blocked
If your child encounters a cyber bully or sexual predator
- Document everything the cyberbully has done: copy e mails, record dates of bullying incidents, and print out any incriminating material.
- Change your accounts and screennames… but make sure the bully does not have the new information!
- Report bullying and sexual predators to law enforcement authorities
